Envision has retained its Formula E driver line-up of Sebastien Buemi and Robin Frijns for the upcoming season, despite both drivers having potential World Endurance Championship clashes.

Bird has been a stalwart of Formula E since its inception in 2014, driving for Virgin Racing, Envision Racing and more recently Jaguar over the last nine years.

The Dutchman previously spent four seasons with Envision between 2018-2022, during which time he took two wins and secured a best result of fourth in the drivers’ standings during the 2018-2019 campaign. 

Evans has raced with Jaguar since both he and the British marque joined the all-electric championship back in 2016, with the Kiwi’s new contract set to make it the longest driver-team partnership on the grid.
