The Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning for May 25–27, telling people nationwide to prepare for heavy to very heavy rainfall, flash floods and runoff.

The Meteorological Department has warned of thunderstorms in the upper part of the country between Friday and Monday and forecast rainfall for Bangkok throughout the week.

Summer storms are expected from Friday through Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Department.
