The Meteorological Department has released data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts confirming winter weather will arrive in Thailand next week.
According to the forecast released on Thursday, Thailand will continue to experience scattered rain while the Northeast sees cooler temperatures and stronger winds.
The model shows cool air masses beginning Friday with temperatures gradually decreasing.
There is a chance that in Bangkok, temperatures will drop below 20°C, particularly during Nov 20-23.
The upper North and upper Northeast regions are expected to see reduced rainfall, with cool to cold weather replacing rainy conditions.
