According to sources, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar informed those at the meeting that “socio-economic profile of castes will be provided to all political parties ahead of upcoming winter session of the State Assembly”.

On Monday, the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar released findings of its much-awaited caste survey months ahead of the 2024 Parliamentary elections. Read further on Dynamite News:

The results of the Bihar caste survey are out. OBCs comprise 27 percent of the state’s population while EBCs make up 36 percent – a total of 63 percent. Hindus make up over 80 percent of the population and Muslims a little over 17 percent.

With the release of caste-based survey, the EBC politics will have an upper edge in Bihar as their number has increased from 30% to 36%.

As the Bihar government released caste survey data, state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that the report will be presented in the all-party meeting scheduled on Tuesday. Read further on Dynamite News:
