City schools posed excellent results in the CBSE Class X and XII examinations, the results of which were declared on Friday.

The Thiruvananthapuram region of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) outshone others yet again when the Class XII examination results were declared on Friday morning. The region, comprising Kerala and Lakshadweep, registered a pass percentage of 99.91, ahead of Bengaluru at 98.64 and Chennai at 97.4.

Trivandrum (99.91%), Bengaluru (99.18%), Chennai (99.14%), Ajmer (97.27%) and Pune (96.92%) regions have the highest pass percentage in Class 10 CBSE.

Central Board of Secondary Education today announced the results of class XII final examinations with an overall passing percentage of 87.33. Read further on Dynamite News:

The CBSE on May 12 declared the Class 12 results, with 87.33% students clearing the exam, a dip of 5.38% as compared to the last year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has stated that a circular notifying that the results of Class 10 and 12 will be declared on May 11, is fake.

The competition for commerce stream has got tougher with more students scoring centum in the four core subjects. Colleges will see higher cut-off for B. Com and allied subjects.

Students said the pressure of performing well in the Class 10 board examinations began very early in the academic year, and it was depressing that they could not enjoy the summer vacation doing things they wanted to.
