As much as 3,700 kg of explosives is set to bring down Supertech’s illegal construction

On Sunday, the controversial Supertech twin towers in Noida will become the country’s tallest structures to be demolished with a controlled blast. And for the 60-odd workers on the spot, including electricians, plumbers, riggers, blasters and helpers, it is a chance to feel proud by demonstrating their skills.

More than 3,500 kg of explosive will be filled in around 9,400 holes drilled in the columns and shears of the skeletal structures

"She is a woman and she is like my sister. Certainly it was a mistake on my part and I do realise it. If she thinks I should apologise to her, then I can do it," Shrikant Tyagi is allegedly heard saying in the video.

Uttar Pradesh police on Tuesday arrested Srikant Tyagi, who was recently seen in a viral video assaulting and abusing a woman at Grand Omaxe in Noida's Sector 93 and was on a run ever since. He was arrested by the police near Noida. Read more on Dynamite News:
