U.S. listed Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) on Thursday announced plans for a secondary listing of its Class A shares in Singapore.

NIO Inc (NYSE: NIO) shares are trading significantly lower Thursday alongside several Chinese companies amid renewed delisting concerns after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission widened its regulatory crackdown on U.S.-listed Chinese companies for not disclosing audit reports.

This was apparently prompted by Nio owners who regretted opting for battery-as-a-service and asked the manufacturer if they could buy the pack instead.

Brokerage firm US Tiger Securities Inc on Tuesday significantly lowered its second-quarter delivery, revenue, and profit estimates for electric vehicle maker Li Auto Inc (NASDAQ: LI).

NIO announced that the first tooling trial builds of the upcoming ET5 model rolled off the production line at the new manufacturing plant at NeoPark in Hefei.
