A Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spokesperson said they were appealing the decision to dismiss the terrorism case against Kneecap rapper Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh. The case was thrown out last month and now, Kneecap have released a statement addressed to the "Police (British) State".

Kneecap’s Mo Chara said any attempts to silence the group have “failed” as he spoke out after terrorism charges against him were dropped on Friday, 26 September.

The Kneecap band member, who performs under the name Mo Chara, appeared in court for the third time on terror charges today. The UK court has ruled that these charges cannot continue.
