Pregnant Amy Hart warned 'do not conceive' after abnormal cells found in cervix

Pregnant Amy Hart has revealed doctors warned her not to conceive after they found abnormal cells in her cervix.

The “scared” star, 30, was told by medics not to get pregnant while they are still investigating the cells because removing them can cause miscarriage.

The former Love Island star announced her pregnancy live on Loose Women on Monday as she was joined by boyfriend Sam Rason, 33, to tell fans the happy news.

Amy conceived naturally months after she froze her eggs amid an ongoing fertility battle having undergone a test that indicated that her fertility levels were low for her age.

But Amy has told how she will need to be monitored throughout her pregnancy by specialist consultants after she went against doctors’ advice and got pregnant while they were examining the cells taken in her smear test.

The smear test in May revealed that she has HPV and what looks to be “high grade precancerous cells” which could result in miscarriage if they are removed.

She underwent an “uncomfortable” colposcopy to investigate her “dodgy cells” in June and was warned by a medic: "Do not get pregnant till I've taken these cells out."

Little did she know, Amy was already carrying her first child.

Speaking on her Instagram Stories, Amy told how she was going to talk about this side of her pregnancy on Loose Women but got “carried away” talking about other things.

Amy told her followers she is under the special care of consultant obstetricians and explained how there are obstacles to overcome as she will have to undergo further tests to check for precancerous cells.

She admitted it was “quite scary” as she told her followers: “We were supposed to talk about this on Loose Women but we all got carried away. So HPV, I've got CIN1 and C1N2 on my cervix.

“The lady told me ‘Do not get pregnant till I've taken these cells out.’ I didn't know at the time that I already was pregnant.”

Looking anxious, she continued: “So now I'm under a consultant. They are trying not to take them out because they can cause miscarriage or early labour...

“Obviously hopefully we can leave them but it's all been quite scary.”

Amy also explained to her fans that her doctors found fibroids - non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb.

She said: “Oh and I've also got four big fibroids on the outside luckily. Yeah, it's all fun and games down in the chamber. It's all fun and games.”

At the age of 28, she decided to freeze her eggs after a fertility MOT showed that her ovarian reserves were low for her age which could leave her at risk of early menopause and unable to have children in the future.

The former air stewardess openly documented undergoing three rounds of eggs freezing at a cost of £12,000.

Two of thew rounds were successful which resulted in 12 eggs being frozen.

On Loose Women, Amy told how she had conceived naturally with Sam but would keep her frozen eggs as she “might need them in the future” depending on the “longevity of [her] egg reserve”.

“If I don’t need them, then I’ll donate them,” she said.
