Pregnant Amy Hart slams trolls calling her 'out of order' for letting mum do her chores

Amy Hart says she has been branded "out of order" for allowing her mother to help out with household chores recently.

The reality TV star, 30 - who is eight months pregnant with her first child - revealed on social media this week that her mum Sue Hart had helped with some washing and ironing.

She has since told her fans that critics have said it was "out of order" to accept her mum's offer to help out in a scathing response on Twitter yesterday.

Amy - who rose to fame on Love Island in 2019 - wrote in her tweet: "Everyone says I'm out of order for taking up my Mum's kind offer of doing my washing and ironing.

"Well, last night [she] went up to my wardrobe to get some coat hangers to take with her and found the collection of vouchers I got for my 30th that I thought I'd lost. Meant to be".

She revealed that her mum had been helping out with some household chores in posts on Instagram earlier this week, including a video that showed Sue cleaning an oven.

Amy said in the clip: "We've realised that my nesting is being done by proxy. So my mum's come round to completely clean my oven. She was like 'this is called nesting' and I was like 'by proxy, because I'm not doing it, you are'."

In another video, Amy - who's expecting her first child with partner Sam Rason, 33 - said: "Mum came round and cleaned my oven today. She took all my washing last night."

Amy spoke about her family in a follow-up video, in which she addressed some of the reaction she had received to a previous post about Sue doing some washing for her.

She said: "I've had loads of messages recently when I said [about] sending washing to my mum's. People were like 'you should really get a washing machine before the baby comes'. We've got one. We've got a washer dryer.

"It's just that my mum will call and say 'oh I'm not doing anything tomorrow afternoon if you want to send some washing up or do you want me to take some washing?'"

She later posted a video about Sue helping with washing (Instagram)

Amy added that her grandmother has a similar approach, recalling that she has told the reality TV star she just needs to ask if she wants help with washing, ironing or cooking.

"So basically in our family we all just try and help each other. [...] We go and house-sit so people can go on holiday. [My nan] has a problem with the laptop or the TV and someone's round within a hour," concluded Amy.
