Toronto FC boss Robin Fraser has revealed they are in talks with Rangers about the future of forgotten loan midfielder Jose Cifuentes.
The 27-year-old is on loan at the Canadian side until the end of this month - his third loan spell away from Ibrox during his time at the club.
Cifuentes suffered a major blow this week when he was left out of Ecuador's World Cup squad and his playing time at Toronto has been curtailed due to a knee injury.
He hasn't featured for his club since April, but had previously made ten appearances in the MLS for Toronto.

And their manager Fraser said: "We are in talks with the club, Jose and Rangers about his future."
Cifuentes, who only started six league games for Rangers, has also had loan spells in Brazil with Cruzeiro and in Greece with Aris.
And he will soon find out his future and whether he has to return to Rangers, where he still has a year left of his contract. Toronto also have an undisclosed purchase option.
