Michigan State hockey gets commitment from No. 9 overall recruit

New Michigan State hockey coach Adam Nightingale has been lighting up the recruiting trail since starting his new position as the head man of the Spartan hockey program. Nightingale may have just landed his most prized recruit when Christian Humphreys committed to Michigan State.

Humphreys is a center from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he most recently played for the Bishop Kearney Selects AAA program. In the 2021-22 campaign between Kearney’s 15u and 16u teams, Humphreys played in 85 games where he tallied 62 goals and 93 assists for 155 points.
