Erling Haaland says new Manchester City teammate Phil Foden can get even better as a player, naming the no.47 as someone he can't wait to play alongside at the Etihad.
Haaland has completed a £51m move from Borussia Dortmund, signing a five-year deal at City. He has praised Foden previously with the pair coming face to face at youth level, and they shared a conversation on the Etihad pitch after City's Champions League victory over Dortmund in the Champions League last year.
After declaring himself a lifelong City fan, Haaland is now excited to link up with his new teammate and highlighted Foden as one of City's best players.

"I have been watching a lot of City games for as long as I can remember," said Haaland, predicting Foden can get even better.
"Of course, then I also watched Phil and he is an amazing player. He is still a talent because he is still young, but he is an amazing player. He still has to develop and then we can really talk.”
Reflecting on his own form in recent years with Dortmund, RB Salzburg and the Norway national team, Haaland said mentality is key to playing at his best level.
He explained: "I think it's a good mix between a lot of things I think first of all, it's my joy to play football and to try to enjoy every single moment and when I enjoy I win football games and I score goals.
"So yeah, I always want to have fun and yeah, I think it's a good mix between a lot of things."
