'The Man With the Bag' follows the story of Santa Claus discovering that his magic bag has been stolen. This leads Santa to join forces with Vance, a reformed thief who finds himself on the naughty list, to retrieve the bag. The duo, along with Vance's daughter and a group of misfit elves, embark on a mission to save Christmas.
Schwarzenegger, known for his recent appearance at the Oscars alongside Danny DeVito, is also starring in the Netflix action-comedy series 'Fubar,' set to return for its second season. His last big-screen appearance was in 2019's 'Terminator: Dark Fate.' The actor previously embraced the holiday spirit in the 1996 family comedy 'Jingle All the Way.'
Ritchson, recognized for his role as Jack Reacher in the Prime Video series 'Reacher,' recently appeared in the film 'Fast X' and is set to star in Guy Ritchie's 'The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,' alongside Henry Cavill and Eiza González.
Director Adam Shankman, known for projects like 'Disenchanted,' 'What Women Want,' 'Rock of Ages,' and 'Hairspray,' is at the helm of 'The Man With the Bag.' Amazon has shown a commitment to Christmas-themed content, with the release of 'Candy Cane Lane' last year, starring Eddie Murphy.
