The husband and wife who were killed in an apparent murder-suicide at a Jehovah’s Witnesses worship hall in Thornton on Christmas morning never went inside the building, a police spokesman said Monday.

THORNTON, Colo. — A married couple is dead in a suspected murder-suicide at a Jehovah’s Witnesses hall in Thornton on Christmas morning, and a hazmat team is investigating “suspicious devices” found at the scene, authorities said.

A man reported missing from the Maitland area this week has been found, police said on Thursday morning.

DENVER -- The first time Thornton resident Sarah Beth Bliss attended the Great American Beer Festival, she said it felt like “beer Christmas.”

"In both incidents, two unknown males stole cash from a self-service check out machine," police said.

According to Fife Road Policing officers on Twitter, the driver was under the influence following the smash in Thornton.
