In a hearing on comedian Kunal Kamra’s affidavit against the amended IT Rules, the central government on Thursday informed the Bombay High Court that it will not notify the formation of its fact-check unit until July 5, Bar and Bench reported.

A public interest litigation has been filed in the Bombay High Court seeking that criminal action should be initiated against CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and social worker Dattatreya Dharmadhikari holding them responsible for the death of 14 people in Kharghar on April 16 due to heatstroke.
