A preliminary investigation by a team of railway officials has revealed that signal was given and then taken off for Coromandel Express which entered the Loop Line and collided with the goods train resulting in the accident near Balasore

Leaders of major political parties in Tamil Nadu on Saturday expressed deep condolences to the families of those killed in the train accident in Odisha, and demanded that the rescue and relief efforts be expedited.
