Last Thursday and Friday, gardai carried out intelligence led searches in 11 counties. During the course of the operation, 46 people were identified as having allegedly purchased sexual services from an individual involved in prostitution.

Hate crime, road safety, human trafficking, illegal weapons and assaults were the next top priorities, the survey carried out by Behaviour and Attitudes (B&A) on behalf of An Garda Siochana found.
