Silver prices are on a path to challenge the 2011 and 1980 highs around the $50 per ounce level. If the price action in gold is a model, silver could be heading much higher than the 1980 high of $50.36 per ounce.

Silver has been in a bullish trend since the 2020 pandemic-inspired low of $11.64. In early September 2025, silver prices are over three times higher, with the latest peak above $40 per ounce.
