Zoho has announced big updates to Bigin by Zoho CRM and Zoho Contracts. It is said to make customer management and contract workflows faster and more intelligent for small and medium businesses (SMBs).
Bigin, which is the lightweight CRM for small businesses, is getting some new features to cut down manual work and improve customer engagement. The update includes a built-in booking system, Shopify integration, and automatic lead capture from platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and WhatsApp ads. Besides, the company is also adding direct integrations with more than 10 payment gateways, including Paytm and Razorpay, to speed up collections.
Since AI is everywhere, bigin is also getting some AI features, like it now supports on-device assistance on mobile apps using Google Gemini, Apple Intelligence, and Samsung Galaxy AI. Coming soon, Bigin will connect with Zoho’s recently launched MCP platform, allowing users to bring in external large language models such as Claude for contextual CRM insights.
Furthermore, businesses will also be able to build or deploy AI agents, including tools for automated email and WhatsApp replies, cross-sell recommendations, churn analysis, and quick dashboard generation. Plus, a refreshed iOS app and a new Apple Watch app are also on the way.
According to the shared press release, Bigin has seen strong adoption in India, which is the second-largest market, with 30% year-over-year revenue growth. Companies like Premier Chess Academy and Say Solar credit Bigin’s WhatsApp integration for improving customer satisfaction and boosting sales growth.
Along with that, Zoho Contracts, which is the company’s contract lifecycle management tool, now comes with an AI assistant to help businesses draft, review, and manage contracts more efficiently. The update brings deep Zoho CRM integration, enhanced e-signature features, multi-organisation support, and the ability to handle counterparty-initiated contracts. Zoho says these improvements will help SMBs shorten contract cycles and reduce compliance risks.
The updated versions of Bigin and Zoho Contracts are now available worldwide.
