WWE 2K26 Soundtrack Features Iconic SmackDown vs. Raw Classics

Early impressions of WWE 2K26 revealed a game that’s looking to get over. There are plenty of quality-of-life updates, better presentation, and new match types. However, what good is a WWE game without a hit of nostalgia?

As found out by SmackTalks on Twitter/X, WWE 2K26 will feature an iconic track from WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw. When Worlds Collide is the track in question, and it was also once a Nu Metal hit in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.

WWE 2K26 Official Soundtrack List

With the return of the Inferno Match, the debut of thumbtacks, and iconic tracks like When Worlds Collide coming full circle for 2K26, the nostalgia hit is real. Earlier in January, we also caught a tease that featured the old WWE scratch logo. Of course, WWE 2K26 is also launching with the Attitude Era and Monday Night War editions, bringing more legends to the upcoming game.

With more gameplay impressions going live on YouTube, you can also catch more songs from older WWE games. For example, in this gameplay video, you can catch Linkin Park’s Two Faced playing at the very beginning.

This curated approach to the soundtrack suggests that 2K is moving away from the “top 40” pop charts and leaning into the rock and metal roots that defined the most successful wrestling titles of the past.

Beyond the music, all of the game modes are getting meaningful upgrades. The Island features a faction-based rivalry, with CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Rhea Ripley leading their respective groups. Scrapyard Brawl is another new addition, going all-in on that backstage brawl and environmental chaos.

Whether you are reliving the Monday Night Wars or setting up a modern dream match, the audio-visual landscape of WWE 2K26 is being designed to evoke the same excitement fans felt when they first picked up a controller two decades ago.

This may be one of those entries that brings older fans back to the franchise, and having CM Punk on the cover certainly helps. We’re just a few days out from the early access release now, so you don’t have to wait long to jump in.
