Wipro and CrowdStrike to Simplify Security, Here’s How

Wipro has announced its collaboration with CrowdStrike to roll out CyberShieldSM MDR. It is an AI-powered managed security service that is said to simplify and strengthen enterprise security operations.

The new service is powered by CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, which combines real-time threat intelligence, AI-driven automation, and data from both Falcon’s native platform and third-party sources. It uses Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, CyberShield MDR, and promises enhanced visibility, faster detection, and improved response times across endpoints, cloud workloads, identities, and data.

Wipro says the service will be managed and hosted from eight Cyber Defense Centers (CDCs) around the world. These centers will use Wipro’s global ecosystem, including portfolio companies Simbian and Tuskira, to deliver proactive breach protection and continuous detection. It is said to help businesses reduce operational blind spots and costs while strengthening resilience against increasingly AI-driven threats.

“Organizations today face a complex threat environment and need more than just point solutions,” Wipro said in its announcement. “CyberShield MDR streamlines operations and strengthens defenses through AI-powered automation.”

This partnership builds on Wipro’s broader strategy to expand its technology and security capabilities. Recently, the company agreed to acquire HARMAN’s Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit, which is expected to enhance its engineering research and development services. The DTS deal focuses on digital engineering, connected products, and AI-driven platforms, which the company plans to integrate into its existing offerings to give clients more advanced digital solutions.
