Who's in the Royal Box at Wimbledon? Ellie Goulding leads the famous faces at championships on day 4

Ellie Goulding was among the famous faces in Wimbledon’s Royal Box on Thursday as day four of the Championships drew another star-studded crowd to Centre Court.

The singer, 39, attended with her partner, Beau Minniear, just months after the couple welcomed their daughter in March.

They were joined by fellow musicians including Keane frontman Tom Chaplin and his partner, Nat Dive, as well as Sir Cliff Richard, a regular fixture at SW19.

Sporting royalty was also well represented, with England and Chelsea defender Lucy Bronze taking her seat alongside Olympic gold medallist Dame Denise Lewis.

Elsewhere in the Royal Box were wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, celebrity chef Marcus Wareing and his wife Jane, while the Duchess of Gloucester was joined by political figures including Sir Nick Clegg and trade minister Sir Chris Bryant.

Among Thursday's headline matches at the championships, defending champion Iga Świątek takes on 2021 runner-up Karolína Plíšková, before former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini faces French rising star Arthur Fils.

Elsewhere, The Princess of Wales delighted Wimbledon fans as she joined the famous queue.

The Royal posed for selfies, chatting to spectators and even helped staff sell tickets ahead of another packed day of action at The Championships in SW19.

Kate, who looked elegant in a tailored blue suit, was all smiles as she met tennis fans who had camped overnight for a chance to secure seats on the famous grass courts.

The princess, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, also spent time with stewards who welcome thousands of spectators through the gates each year.

Kate told two tennis fans to “have a great time” as she handed them a ticket on Thursday morning.

In the queue, she could be seen smiling and laughing as she greeted visitors and took pictures with them.

After lending a hand in the ticket office, Kate watched a match on an outside court - Court 18 - alongside former British No.1 Tim Henman and AELTC chair Deborah Jevans.

Away from the Royal Box, Stanley Tucci was spotted soaking up the Wimbledon atmosphere in the Emirates Suite, enjoying the airline’s signature ‘Fly Better’ hospitality before heading to Centre Court to catch the day’s action.
