Halloween night once again saw celebrities pull out all the stops with elaborate costumes, but it was Heidi Klum who stole the spotlight with her annual star-packed “Heidiween” celebration in New York.
The German supermodel has long reigned as Hollywood’s queen of Halloween thanks to her outrageous, theatrical outfits — and this year she went even bigger, transforming into a ghoulish Medusa.

After teasing fans throughout the day with cryptic glimpses of her look on Instagram, Klum arrived late to her party dressed head-to-toe in bright green scales with a crown of moving snakes. She hissed and stuck out a forked tongue for photographers, living up to her promise that her look would be “very ugly.”
The costume was the result of another collaboration with Oscar-nominated make-up artist Mike Marino, with more than 35 artists helping bring her monstrous transformation to life.
By her side was her husband, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, who complemented her costume as a man turned to stone — shield raised mid-battle after daring to look directly at Medusa.

Klum’s bash once again drew a flood of famous faces in equally striking get-ups. Rapper Ice-T appeared in a red hooded jumpsuit and blood-splattered mask, armed with fake weapons, while his wife Coco Austin channelled Chucky in a red wig and denim bodysuit scrawled with the line: “Wanna play?”
YouTuber James Charles shocked guests by arriving with a replica of his own severed head, a nod to Jared Leto’s infamous 2019 Met Gala look. He even posted a make-up tutorial showing how he pulled it off.
Glee star Darren Criss opted for a full Shrek transformation complete with prosthetic nose and padded stomach, while his wife Mia Swier dressed as Puss in Boots. Olympian Ilona Maher embodied vintage Barbie in a strapless black gown, opera gloves, and gold jewellery — and posed with her own Barbie doll on Instagram.

Other stars joined in the fun from afar. Mariah Carey unveiled a pastel blue dress and pink hair in a “Happy Halloween from Japan” post alongside her children. Megan Thee Stallion took inspiration from anime as Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen, while former Little Mix singer Jade appeared as Greta from Gremlins.
Janelle Monáe embraced the Cat in the Hat look, Paris Hilton recreated Britney Spears’s iconic red latex suit from Oops!... I Did It Again, and Keke Palmer transformed into Snoop Dogg — complete with lip-synched rap verses.
Even political figures got involved in this year’s festivities, with former US president Donald Trump reportedly hosting his own Halloween party in Florida.
