Which Love Island star has earned the most after leaving the villa?

ITV's Love Island has provided the platform to catapult many careers and create numerous social influencers by gaining an army of fans during their time on the show. While the primary aim of entering the programme should be to find love, there are countless added bonuses to entering the reality TV world.

While some decide to drift away from the limelight, countless others have cashed in on their experiences in the villa. As The Sun reports, the most successful contestants have utilised lucrative fashion deals, raunchy snaps and even presented gigs to boost their profile and finances.

Reportedly, it’s one of the 2019 participants who tops the rich list in the form of Molly-Mae Hague. The 23-year old has an extraordinary estimated net worth of £4.5m.

This figure was significantly enhanced during the Coronavirus pandemic, as she managed to add £2m to her bank account during this period. A total of £1.2m in profits was made at her company MMH Group Holdings while £848,000 was accumulated from her self-tanning brand Filter.

Additionally, the business-savvy influencer, who has 6.3 million followers on Instagram, landed a six-figure deal with fast-fashion chain Pretty Little Thing in 2019 to become their creative director. She has also wrote a book - titled Becoming Molly-Mae - which is published on June 9 and can be bought at Waterstones for £17.99.

The synopsis states: “In Becoming Molly-Mae she unravels herself completely for the first time to open up about how she nurtured her creativity from a young age, took ownership of her body image, battlde self-doubt and built a happy life. By sharing these parts of herself, Molly-Mae gives a fresh take on finding beauty and balance in a busy world.”

Her boxer boyfriend, Tommy Fury, ranks fourth in this particular money list, with the pair having originally coupled up on the show three years ago. 2019 clearly proved a strong year for creating superstars who have since gone on to live luxurious, glamorous lifestyles as both Maura Higgins and Amber Gill also feature in the top five.

Maura, a close friend of Molly-Mae, has an estimated net worth of £2.5m while Amber, who beat Molly-Mae and Tommy to the Love Island trophy, has a more modest £2m. The only person from a different series to break into this quintet is 2018 winner Dani Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny.

This is the complete top 10 Love Island stars who have earned the most money.
