Roberto Martinez's agent says there has been no contact from Celtic with the Portugal boss being linked to the manager's job.
The Spaniard is expected to leave his current job after this summer's World Cup, with his contract set to end.
He has been strongly linked with taking over from Martin O'Neill at Parkhead and has previously worked with Shaun Maloney, who looks set for a sporting director type role next season.
However, Martinez's agent Jesse De Preter has denied that any discussions have taken place.
He told Celts Are Here: “There was no direct contact at all."

Meanwhile, the Spaniard's former Everton player Gareth Barry reckons it would be an ideal fit.
He told Action Network: "Roberto Martinez will be looking forward to getting back into full-time management, as he loves the game and the day-to-day training.
"His training methods are fantastic, and his style of play is great. If Celtic secure Roberto Martinez, it would be a great coup.
"He is capable of helping Celtic move past the worries of almost not winning a league title this year and implementing a style of football the fans will love. It would be a good move all around."
