What Edinburgh's average house price will get you in different areas across the capital

The average price of a house in Edinburgh has jumped over the £320,000 mark - which can get you a lot of space in certain areas of the city.

According to a report by Lindsay's, Edinburgh's average house price has risen to £325,000, with appetite rising for homes despite a shaky economic climate. Throughout 2022, the average price of homes sold through Lindsays’ Edinburgh office was £325,000, as we reported earlier today.

This compares to £316,000 in 2021 - a rise of 2.8 per cent. So, what does that type of money buy you in Edinburgh's housing market in 2023?

Craiglockhart

First off is this two bedroom apartment in the heart of Craiglockhart in Edinburgh. This home is on the market for offers over £325,000.
