He faces super-featherweight rival Kenichi Ogawa in Cardiff for the IBF strap. Were he to be successful, Cordina would be the first Welshman to win a world title since Lee Selby in 2015. He would also become the 13th Welshman in history to get to the top of the world.

The undercard is due to get underway at 7pm but ringwalks for the main event are due to take place around 10pm.
