What can Dalano Banton’s Las Vegas Summer League play tell us about his future with the Boston Celtics? After an 18-point offensive explosion in Las Vegas Summer League play, making fans of the ball club start to see why the Celtics might want to have the former Toronto Raptors floor general in their system developing as a player.

As a 6-foot-9 point guard, the advantages afforded by the 23-year-old’s unusual height for the position add unique floor vision and defensive versatility on the other end of the court. Banton has averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game since joining the NBA after being drafted 46th overall by the Raptors in 2021.
