Waterloo Road twins' huge transformation as duo ditch acting to form their own band

A set of twins famous for their stint in Waterloo Road will be coming to play a gig.

You might recall Hope and Millie Katana as twins Shona and Rhona Mansfield in BBC drama Waterloo Road. They appeared in the school drama between 2011 and 2012.

The 24-year-olds now perform as The KTNA. The duo were born in Kenya and now reside in Manchester. Their debut EP Life Under Siege was released in 2019.

The sisters, who began their signing careers on CBBC show Clash, said: “During this pandemic lots of people have lost their jobs, their freedoms, and sometimes their sanity. Life Under Siege has helped people through this pandemic by making people feel seen, heard, and understood. It has been an outlet for so many to cry too. Sometimes that’s all you need.”

The KTNA will be taking to the stage at Headrow House in Leeds city centre on Wednesday, March 30. Elsewhere, they will be playing in Bristol, London and Manchester on their tour.
