Both sides went for a winner late on but couldn't prevail as the spoils were shared.
Post-match, the 2,000 travelling Celtic supporters were kept behind at Ibrox. One away fan, however, was pictured in the home end, waving his green and white scarf after the Rangers faithful had left.

Celtic had an almighty chance in the game's dying embers to win it.
Daizen Maeda raced through on goal after a sloppy Rangers throw-in, but Liam Kelly and James Tavernier did enough to put the Japanese forward off.
Chris Sutton thinks he should've done better: "This is incredible," he said (Sky Sports).
"Johnny Kenny is screaming to Daizen Maeda, 'You've got to put it to me'.
"When he's in position, had Maeda found Kenny there, he'd have had the easiest of tasks. Wrong decision. Rangers get away with it."
Rangers remain 17 points behind champions Celtic following this afternoon's result.
The sides will next face off at the beginning of next season.
