Malcolm Brogdon was understandably nonplussed by the Boston Celtics’ efforts to trade him this offseason per reports. He may still be based on the unsuccessful attempts by Boston Globe reporter Gary Washburn to get in touch with the onetime Virginia star.

The veteran has implemented a total media blackout since the deal collapsed.

There are concerns about Brogdon’s health and whether he will undergo surgery on his tendon injury. Some speculate his reluctance to do so might be a form of protest against being dangled as a trade option. Brogdon’s silence throughout the summer has only added to the uncertainty surrounding his future in Boston.
