Victoria has recorded another 5052 COVID-19 infections and 17 deaths.

The new cases include 3372 detected via rapid antigen tests and 1680 from PCR lab tests, the health department said on Sunday.

There are 41,038 active cases in the state and 274 people in hospital, down from 291 the previous day.

Of these, 38 are in intensive care and five on ventilation.

More than 58 per cent of Victorian adults have received three vaccine doses, while just under 94 per cent have had two.

The vaccination rollout began in Victoria one year ago this week, with more than 14 million doses administered so far.

The latest figures come days after the state eased indoor mask-wearing and working from home rules.

Additionally, all remaining elective surgery restrictions will lift on Monday.
