Thankfully, I'm not the target audience for the 946 Horse, which is the brand's latest limited-edition model. However, if I had any fashion sense at all, my money probably wouldn't be safe if I came across a 946 Horse for sale.
The idea is that the 946 Horse embodies the horse: regal, dynamic, and a symbol of resilience. It's the meticulous attention to detail and design from Vespa's designers that ensures this model doesn't fall short. What sets this model apart is its bay color, a deep brown shade that resembles the glossy, dark coat of a horse. But, beneath the contrasting matte and gloss finishes, is a steel body—these finishes and materials are sure to leave an impression when seen in the flesh.

This installment opens the latest chapter in the project with the introduction of the new Royal crest, a graphic design featuring a horse and dachshund mirrored symmetrically, inspired by Vespa's archival graphics and reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The emblem appears on the wool varsity jacket, enhanced with gold embroidery and details that are meant to echo both the regal spirit of the collection and the brand’s heritage.

If the 946 Horse is the fashion accessory you can't live without, good news, it's available to pre-order on vespa's official website and at the VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE store in Milan, where the model will also be exclusively on display. As for the price, it has an MSRP of $13,649, which is about as much as you could ever expect to pay for a new Vespa, but you hardly expected to be a value option.
