UT starts 24X7 consultation with doctors

UT CHANDIGARH

CHANDIGARH: The UT health department has started 24x7 patient to doctor consultation service through doctors available in the central control room at GMSH-16, Chandigarh. The service has been made available to patients free of cost and is functional 24x7.

eSanjeevani OPD patient has to register on esanjeevaniopd.in or download the eSanjeevani OPD app in their iOS and Android mobile phone. Video consultation with a doctor is free of cost. Facilities include instant messaging (text-based) ePrescription and SMS notifications serviced by doctors.

The telemedicine service will allow people to access care in the comfort and privacy of their home, saving time and money spent on a visit to hospital. It also reduces overcrowding of medical facilities.
