Travis Kelce, the NFL tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has been keeping busy during the off-season with a new venture. He is set to host a game show titled “Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?” on Prime Video, as confirmed by the streaming service. The show, consisting of 20 episodes, has already wrapped up filming.

The concept of the show is a unique take on the popular game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”, which first aired in 2007 with Jeff Foxworthy as the host. A revival was later hosted by John Cena in 2019. In Kelce's version, adult contestants will face 11 elementary-level questions and can seek assistance from a panel of celebrities. The final question, based on 6th-grade curriculum, carries a prize of $100,000. However, only one celebrity is permitted to guide the contestant through the answer to the last question.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Kelce, who is romantically linked to music sensation Taylor Swift, mentioned that he has always been a fan of game shows and is thrilled to be following in the footsteps of television icons.

This isn't Kelce's first foray into television. He previously headlined his own dating competition show, “Catching Kelce”, on E! in 2016. Additionally, he had the opportunity to host an episode of the renowned comedy show “Saturday Night Live” last year.
