Travelodge has launched a major sale, releasing over 2 million rooms for £34 or less across its 580 UK hotels. The sale includes Travelodge hotels across Wales.
The budget hotel chain has over 20 hotels in Wales including hotels in Swansea, Cardiff and Wrexham, as well as hotels in Carmarthen, Bridgend, Llandudno and Holyhead. The sale says selected dates will bring the cost of staying in some hotels to £34 or less.
Travellers looking for a cheap break away this year can take advantage of the sale which lasts until the end of the year.

The cheapest stays in January can be found in North Wales, where Colwyn Bay and Llandudno Travelodges can be booked for only £30 per night. The prices are also available in February and March. Cardiff and Swansea hotels cost as little as £33 a night for the first two months of the year, according to Travelodge's price finder.
Holidaymakers from Wales that want to venture into England can choose from a number of grade II listed hotels including The Regent Hotel Leamington Spa Travelodge and Durham's Travelodge, which used to be a railway station and features hotel corridors that were once platforms.
Nearby Bristol Central is also a Grade II listed Travelodge, while further afield Tunbridge Wells and Preston both host hotels in Grade II listed building.
More than 200 of the chain's hotels feature an on-site restaurant called The Bar Café which offers a breakfast, dinner and bar menu service. Guests can enjoy an unlimited hot buffet Travelodge breakfast which starts from £8.99 and for each paying adult two children under the age of 15 eat for free.
