Top chef shows how to make amazing meals with Super Noodles - for just £1.50

A top chef has been praised after showing people how to make gourmet meals out of Super Noodles - as he says they're quick, delicious, and very cheap.

Triple Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge, 48, said you can whip up the budget meal in just four minutes and you'll be amazed by how nice it tastes.

He uses everyday ingredients and utensils found in every kitchen, as he wanted people affected by the cost of living crisis to still eat well.

The telly cook, whose has three Michelin stars between his pubs Hand of Flowers and The Coach, said the total cost of each meal was just £1.50 so it won't break the bank.

Tom combined the Chow Mein flavoured instant noodles with half a cabbage, a carrot, two spring onions, a vegetable stock cube, some frozen peas and soy sauce.

A packet of Super Noodles costs just 70p and all the ingredients together cost less than £1.50, and alongside being cheap the meal is quick too - ready in just four minutes.

He talked through the recipe which is a far cry from his fine-dining meals at his gastro pubs, both in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

The chef said: "We are pimping up Super Noodles.
