Tommy Fury tells why he hasn't proposed to Molly-Mae Hague after she dropped major hint

Tommy Fury has shared why he hasn't - yet- proposed to Molly-Mae Hague after she dropped a hint that he should pop the question last month. The loved-up couple met and fell in love on Love Island in 2019 and have since gone on to welcome their first child together.

Tommy, 24, and Molly-Mae, 23, delighted fans last September when they revealed that they were set to become parents. And after sharing her pregnancy journey with her fans and followers, Molly-Mae confirmed they'd welcomed a baby girl on January 30, a week after she was born at a London hospital.

She posted a sweet hospital snap showing the new family-of-three before later confirming her unique name. The pair opted for the Disney-inspired moniker, Bambi, and were met with a mixed response which they have ignroed as they basked in their newborn bubble.

But last month, during a work trip before their first holiday with their baby girl, Molly-Mae appeared to nudge her beau on the marriage front. While on a fashion shoot with PrettyLittleThing, for whom she is the creative director, in the South of France, the influencer revealed it was her favourite place she had ever been.

"It’s making me really question my thoughts of how I never, ever wanted to get married abroad," she told fans in one of her YouTube vlogs. "I mean, it’s funny because I’m not even engaged yet and I’m talking about when I’m getting married. I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself aren’t I," she said with a laugh.

The former reality star continued: "I’ve always just pictured when Tommy and I get married that it would be in the UK. We’d get married in a big church and do it at home. Now we’ve come here and I’ve seen this unreal location, it makes me think an abroad wedding would actually be pretty stunning."

Holding her ring finger up to the camera, showing off her perfectly manicured nails, Molly-Mae told her 1.7 million subscribers: "I haven’t even got the ring yet," before adding: "Tommy if you're watching this!"

The exact clip has now been played on Loose Men, an all-male spin-off of the ITV show, as Tommy made his debut on the panel alongside BBC Radio 2 host Vernon Kay, The Chase's Paul Sinha and singer and actor Martin Kemp.

Boxwe Tommy admitted that he’d originally planned on proposing to Molly-Mae a lot sooner, but because of everything that his professional athletic career entails, his plans had to be put on hold. "My actual plan was to do a lot sooner but obviously, being a boxer, when you’re in a training camp you’ve got to completely shut yourself off.

"You want to just focus on the fight, so I can’t be going her, there and everywhere proposing," he told the panel. But Tommy then reassured fans who are championing the couple to tie the knot: "So I’m going to do it soon guys, honestly, I really am."

Tommy was also asked about juggling parenthood and his boxing career, to which Tommy explained: "It is a challenge. I’ve already experienced it, with my last fight being very close to having the baby. I feel like, as a fighter, having a baby gives me more motivation, something to fight for when times are getting tough. She’s what I’m fighting for now, so it’s definitely spurred me on.”"
