A 30-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested after police raided a property in the Dalneigh area of the city earlier on Thursday May 12.

Police carried out the operation earlier on Thursday in the western district of the Highland city.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland's Highlands and Islands Division said that the pair would appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Friday after being detained by officers.

Meanwhile, a separate "intelligence-led" operation in the city centre on May 12 has led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man from Liverpool.

Police say that £3,000 of heroin and crack cocaine was seized after a warrant was enacted.
