This Morning's Gino D'Acampo left 'raging' at ITV stars over cooking demo and risks bosses' wrath

Gino D'Acampo was left shouting at his ITV colleagues on Friday's This Morning, after being left incensed by an Italian cooking demonstration that played out in front of him, with the appearance of pineapple on a pizza tipping him over the edge.

Not quite as much a regular on the daytime show as he used to be, Gino was back in the studio to join Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary for the final show of the week. And, after Alison took him to task for 'never being on' at the same time as her, the hosts msde Gino stand and watch as a video played of some of the This Morning team attempting to cook some Italian dishes.

It didn't take long for Gino to air his frustrations, with him shouting put as one of the team broke the spaghetti up into smaller pieces as she put it into the pan, with him complaining: "Why is she cutting the spaghetti in half?! See that's where people go wrong."

He then rolled his eyes as the crew member pre made garlic bread baguettes into their oven, before he saw them empty out a jar of tomato sauce, fuming: "Is that a Jamie Oliver sauce?! Why can't you use a nice tin of chopped tomato?"

He did offer some praise for the appearance of grated cheese, but then when seeing parmesan being put on top questioned: "And then you sprinkle dry cheese? Why?!"

Gino was then left fuming by the person then piling garlic bread into their bowl on top of the pasta, but tried to rein in his anger, saying: "Look, overall...it looks nice. But, number one: you don't break the spaghetti, otherwise just go and buy a pasta that is shorter. What's the point in doing that?

As he looked more and more riled, Gino continued: Number two: why you using a sauce from a non-Italian guy, when you can have a sauce from an Italian guy I can't day because otherwise they'll get me out. Then I don't get it; you grate the fresh cheese and then put the dry parmesan on top of it."

Later on in the show, Gino then hit out at another of his This Morning colleagues dating to put pineapple on a pizza, blasting: "Why would anyone but pineapple on a pizza. I can't believe that."
