The range of things to do in Dublin this weekend includes plenty of festive fun for Dubliners to enjoy.

From drive-in movies to quirky experiences to an abundance of festive markets, this weekend's schedule is looking stacked. Whether you're looking for wholesome family fun or some craic with your mates, there are some great things happening in the capital this weekend.

Eco Christmas Craft Market at Botanic Gardens

Among the number of Christmas markets taking place in Dublin this weekend is a sustainable craft market at Glasnevin's Botanic Gardens. Taking place this Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, expect to find over seventy stalls featuring an array of sustainable gift ideas, decorative craft, and tasty seasonal treats.

No booking or tickets are required. The market takes place both days between 10am and 4pm.

Clay and Coffee: Make Your Own Pot Person

One of the quirkier events to take place in Dublin this weekend is a Clay and Coffee session where ticket holders will be treated to tea, coffee and guidance on how to make their own clay pot person.

The event will take place this Sunday, December 11 at 2pm and costs €26 to attend. It is hosted by Alternative Dublin City, an events organiser that has hosted popular events such as painting with pints.

Dandelion Market at The Well

Dandelion market at The well is taking place every Sunday for the month of December and sees vintage fashion sellers, craftspeople and more come together to offer a huge range of gift ideas.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the traders there have some seriously wonderful stuff on offer, from handmade jewellery to quirky accessories to vintage fashion to vinyl records.

Miracle on 34th Street drive-in movie

Those in the mood for a festive flick this weekend can go to see Miracle on 34th Street. The film will be shown at the Ferry Terminal in Dun Laoghaire this Saturday, December 10 at 7pm.

Tickets cost €15 and can be purchased here.

Greenshine at The Cobblestone

The Cobblestone is a beloved Dublin pub which is known for keeping the tradition of Irish trad and folk sessions alive. This Saturday, December 10, you will be able to catch RTE Folk Awards nominee Greenshine.

Greenshine is a Cork based trio whose sounds incorporates indie, folk and other genres. Tickets for this Saturday's gig cost €22 and are available here.

Cheesy Karaoke at The Tara Building

A night of cheesy Christmas karaoke as well as mixing games enabling you to meet new people is on the agenda at The Tara Buildings this Saturday night.

Tickets cost €11 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Bewley's Sustainable Market

Yet another festive market to check out this weekend is the Bewley's sustainable market. Taking place in Bewley's Grafton Street this Saturday and Sunday, you can expect local artists, jewellers, curated clothing collections, and much more.
