The moment he emerged himself,different parts of his body appeared across the Himalayas in different places.

These places became the Panch Kedar temples.

• The hump at kedarnath.
• The arms at Tunganath.
• The face at Rudranath.
• The navel at Madhyamaheswar.
• The hair at Kalpeshwar.

And all these five temples are called Panch Kedar together.
