The Only Way Is Essex hunting for extras as filming for brand new series starts

The Only Way Is Essex is looking for extras as they prepare to film the new series.

ITV is on the hunt for people to join the show for upcoming episodes featuring the famous cast.

Successful applicants will star alongside the likes of Chloe Brockett, James Lock, Pete Wicks, Amber Turner and boyfriend Dan Edgar.

Also making a comeback for the 2022 series will be Dani Imbert, who previously dated Gatsby, and BFFs Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green.

Those who fancy getting their face on the telly should send their name, age, contact number and “best selfie” to WhatsApp number 07342 164 796. You must be over 18 to apply.

Filming will take place in locations such as Colchester and the seaside town of Southend later this month.

The callout for extras comes after several longstanding cast members were axed from the reality show last summer.

The ITVBe series, which has been on air since 2010, said it now wanted to focus on a smaller group to “show more of their personal passions and professions”.

Among the casualties of the shake-up are Harry Derbidge, Kelsey Stratford, Clelia Theodorou, Tom McDonnell and Nicole Bass.

While TOWIE’s biggest star – and self-proclaimed Queen of Essex – Chloe Sims sensationally quit the show earlier this month after 11 years.

Her younger sisters Demi and Frankie have also confirmed they won’t be returning as the family are launching their own reality show on OnlyFans TV.

A spokesperson for the programme said the "door will always be open" for Chloe and her sisters to return should they want to.

But the 40-year-old, who is also co-producing her new show, hopes they will become the new Kardashians.

The siblings insist they will overtake their former The Only Way Is Essex co-star Gemma Collins , becoming the richest and most successful British reality stars.

Sharing the news on her Instagram page, Chloe posted a photo of herself alongside her brother Charlie, his fiancée Georgia Shults and sisters Demi and Frankie.

Chloe then wrote in the caption: "ITS OFFICIAL The Sims family finally have their own show and we are so excited to share the brand new concept exclusively on OFTV.

"Download the FREE streaming app via - IOS app store, android, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV and Roku. @watchoftv".

The new "concept" will be featuring on OFTV, a video platform which features content from OnlyFans creators.

Chloe and her family are said to have signed a £1million contract for the show – with the family members also opening OnlyFans accounts, where they will feature Instagram-style photos – but no explicit images.
