The Celtic fixtures set to be moved due to Europa League games

As the introductory song goes on TNT Sports, 'Thursday nights, are Europa nights'.

And that's where Celtic will soon find themselves after last night's failure to qualify for the league phase of the Europa League.

Brendan Rodgers' side lost a £20m penalty shootout in Kazakhstan against minnows Kairat Almaty.

This means the Hoops will now enter the league phase of UEFA's secondary club competition, which will commence in the midweek of September 24/25.

The consequences of this means there are up to eight Scottish Premiership fixtures of Celtic's that will now be shifted to Sunday afternoons.

List of domestic Celtic fixtures set to be moved

Hibs H, Saturday September 27 (could remain Saturday if Europa League tie is Wednesday)

Motherwell H, Saturday October 4

Hearts A, Saturday October 25

Kilmarnock H, Saturday November 8

Hibs A, Saturday November 29

Falkirk A, Saturday December 13 (If Celtic reach the Premier Sports Cup final this would be postponed)
