As the nights draw in and the weather gets colder, there’s nothing quite like a bargain to lift your spirits. Regular beauty buys can be a drain on the bank account, so we’ve tracked down the best Black Friday beauty deals on the hair care, skincare and beauty tech we’ve tested and recommended in the Filter over the past year. We’ve also rounded up the best site-wide deals so you can save on your own favourite products.
Of course, Black Friday is rocket fuel for overconsumption and overspending on beauty products is terrible for the planet. My advice? Don’t buy anything unless you’ve already had your eye on it for a while, and always take five to figure out what you really need before diving into shopping. If you aren’t sure about a purchase, remember that Boxing Day sales are just around the corner.
Our very own Filter deputy editor, Monica Horridge, once brought 20 lipsticks in “weird shades of pink” during a Black Friday sale, so she’d be the first to warn you to exercise caution.
But if you want to upgrade your beauty routine or need a failsafe beauty gift for a loved one, I’ve trawled the virtual shelves for bumper beauty savings. Below, you’ll find the best savings on products recommended by the beauty boffins at the Filter.
You can also explore our pick of the best Black Friday deals on Filter tried-and-tested products, the best Black Friday deals under £50 and the best PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 deals
How we selected these Black Friday beauty deals
At the Filter, we’ve tested hundreds of beauty products in 2025 alone. Beyond that, our experts have made a living trialling the latest and greatest in skincare, hair care and makeup. The deals on this page represent the top performers in every category.
But that isn’t the end of the story. Each saving we recommend has been measured against the product’s long-term average price. This weeded out instances where retailers temporarily increased the price of an item shortly before Black Friday to artificially inflate the discount they offer. A scarily common practice used to mislead consumers during sales events.
One of the best tools we use for checking this is the free Camelizer browser extension, which unveils the price history of any Amazon listing. I’ve been covering Black Friday sales for the past four years, and have uncovered hundreds – if not thousands – of dud deals using this method.
Below, we’ve hand-picked the biggest legitimate savings on beauty products that our beauty experts love, recommend and use in their own beauty routines. We’ve also included a list of the best site-wide sales we’ve seen. Some Black Friday deals won’t start until the day itself, which falls on 28 November, but many deals go live long before then. If you can’t find the beauty bargains you’re looking for now, check back on the big day.

Viral makeup gift set
Charlotte Tilbury Mini Viral Beauty Icons makeup gift set, £33.75 (was £45)
£33.75 at Charlotte Tilbury £33.75 at AsosCharlotte Tilbury is one of the most coveted beauty brands, and this pink-toned makeup set is filled with mini-sized versions of its most popular products. That includes a pearlescent beauty light wand and a Airbrush flawless setting spray – one of my top picks. And it wouldn’t be a Charlotte Tilbury gift set without a lipstick and lip pencil in the ever-popular shade Pillow Talk. It’s the perfect introduction to the brand, and at £33.75, it would make a great gift for a makeup lover.

Mood boosting gift set
Neom Feel Good Mood Boost gift set, £18.75 (was £25)
£18.75 at John Lewis £18.75 at M&SWinter is a notoriously miserable season, and it’s often the little things that lift your spirits. This neat gift set includes a 75g Neom Happiness candle, with a mood-boosting fragrance of neroli, mimosa and lemon. Spot-busting skincare
The Ordinary The Clear Set for blemish-prone skin, £9.87 (was £14.10)
£9.87 at Cult Beauty £10.58 at LookfantasticThe Ordinary is well known for making effective, affordable skincare, with many of its products selling for less than £10. This set comes with a gentle cleanser, an exfoliating salicylic acid serum and a hydrating lightweight moisturiser perfect for gently treating blemish-prone skin. For under £10, it’s a brilliant starting point for an acne-prone teen skincare routine.

Lipstick that suits everyone
Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick, £17.50 (was £25)
£17.50 at LookfantasticIt’s bold to claim that a lipstick can look good on everyone, but I’ll stand my ground with Clinique Black Honey. This popular shade is most loved in the brand’s Almost Lipstick formulation, which gives a sheer wash of colour over the lips, while nourishing them with hydrating glycerin. On application, the lips are given a subtle, deep red warmth. It’s pretty expensive for 1.9g, but now’s a great time to buy it cheaper if you’ve been dying to try it.
***
Foolproof cream bronzer
Refy cream bronzer, £15 (was £20)
£15 at SpaceNKI tested my way through over 20 bronzers this summer, and this cream bronzer from Refy has been a staple in my makeup bag ever since. It’s highly buildable, so perfect for anyone looking for anything from a subtle flush to a dramatic bronze. I also find it blends easily with other makeup products and stays put all day without budging or smudging. For £5 off, it’s well worth a try.

A luxury multi styler
Dyson Airwrap I.D. multi styler, £329 (was £479.99)
£329 at Boots £329 at AOThe Dyson Airwrap deals aren’t great this year (they never are), but if you’ve been holding out until Black Friday to buy one, the Airwrap ID is the model you should buy. If you’re tempted by the £299 deal on the Airwrap Origin, don’t be. You’ll get an outdated model with fewer attachments at a price that comes back around every year. You’d be far better off investing a little more in the newer Airwrap ID, since its improved app-connected design creates better-lasting curls with less faff. This curly/coily model is only £30 more expensive than the Origin, or you can buy a straight/wavy configuration for £399 – an £80 discount from its usual price.

A simple skincare set
Byoma Universal Skincare Heroes, £16.50 (was £22)
£16.50 at Cult Beauty £16.50 at AmazonThere are few things beauty-loving teens and tweens crave more than expensive skincare, despite there being no real need for them to use it. However, if one of your little loves won’t stop asking for skincare, get them something simple and gentle. This five-step set from Byoma is aesthetically pleasing and can keep young skin clean, hydrated and protected, without causing damage.

Powerful retinal eye cream
Medic8 Crystal retinal ceramide eye cream, £31.50 (was £42)
£31.50 at Lookfantastic £31.50 at AmazonRetinal is one of the most powerful anti-ageing ingredients out there, so if you’re looking to improve signs of ageing around your eyes, this potent eye cream from Medik8 is a brilliant choice. It’s our favourite eye cream overall, and the only downside our product tester, Sabine Wiesel, could see was that she didn’t start using it at a younger age. At £31.50, it’s a sage investment.
***
Affordable brightening eye cream
The Inkey List caffeine eye cream, £6.94 (was £7.73)
£6.95 at Lookfantastic £6.37 at AmazonIf your budget can’t stretch to the Medik8 option above, or you don’t want to start using retinoids, this eye cream from the Inkey List is another brilliant choice. It’s formulated to improve dark circles using caffeine, and matrixyl 3000 peptide helps plump up the skin. Sabine Wiesel, who has tested 25 eye creams, has gone through two to three tubes of the stuff, so you know it’s a top performer.
***
Sensitive skin facial SPF
Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF50 Sensitive Advanced Serum, £7.89 (was £10)
£7.89 at AmazonBefore you reach for expensive retinol creams and serums, the first anti-ageing skincare step you should be doing is applying SPF. That’s because sun exposure can cause the breakdown of collagen and elastin, which speeds up the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. In her roundup of the best anti-ageing products, Sali Hughes recommended the Garnier Ambre Solaire sensitive SPF50, as it has a silky texture, is fast to apply and quick to absorb. Snag a saving on it while it’s cheaper.
***
Luxury lip balm
Augustinus Bader x Sofia Coppola tinted lip balm, £27 (was £36)
£27 at SpaceNKMost people use a lip balm daily, and there isn’t really any need to spend more than £10 to get a good formula. However, if you’re looking for a foolproof gift to get a beauty lover, this tinted balm is an easy recommendation. This Augustinus Bader tinted lip balm replaces clunky, plasticky lip balm tubes with a weighty metal that feels high-end, and the balm’s buttery formula melts into the lips to instantly soften, heal cracks and moisturise. The tinted balms are perfect for a wash of colour.

A sweet, fresh gourmand fragrance
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love eau de toilette, 50ml, £37.50 (was £75)
£37.50 at BootsMarc Jacobs’ Daisy perfumes have been popular for decades, and my personal favourite from the collection, Daisy Love, is 50% off at Boots. This sweet gourmand fragrance has cloudberry top notes, with heart notes of daisy tree petals, settling into a base of cashmere musk and driftwood. Its scent is long-lasting and distinctive, without being off-putting.
***
A warm, comforting floral fragrance
Floral Street wild vanilla orchid eau de parfum, 50ml, £37 (was £74)
£37 at BootsIf gourmand fragrances set your teeth on edge and you’re looking for something a little more grounded, this wild vanilla orchid perfume gets the balance just right. It’s got creamy vanilla bean, blossom and jasmine, with punchier cassis and citrus, all mellowed out with base notes of bamboo and sandalwood. I find it perfect as a daily scent, and at half price, it’s a safe bet.
***
A rich cleansing balm
Elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm, £39 (was £52)
£33.14 at Amazon £36.40 at LookfantasticUsing a rich, buttery cleansing balm is one of my favourite steps in my evening skincare routine, and this sumptuous balm from Elemis is one of the best I’ve tried. The only downside is its gargantuan price tag. I recommend bagging this while it’s discounted.

An LED face mask for all skin types
Shark CryoGlow face mask, £237.50 (was £299)
£237.60 at Amazon £249 at John Lewis £248.95 at LookfantasticLight therapy is the beauty tech buy of the moment, and I tested an absurd number of LED face masks earlier this year. The Shark CryoGlow was an easy recommendation, with foolproof treatment options to treat blemishes, reduce redness and improve fine lines. As someone who gets hormonal acne, I’ve continued to use the mask’s blemish control setting every evening since my tests, and it’s helped to keep my skin looking calmer and healthier year-round. Check the “apply £11.40 voucher” box on Amazon to get the lowest price.
***
Anti-ageing red light mask
CurrentBody bundle, £543.99 (was £758)
£543.99 at CurrentBodyOf the masks I’ve tested, the CurrentBody is the best for anti-ageing by far. It has unmatched facial coverage, incredibly comfortable straps, and red, near infrared and deep near infrared lights to give the most powerful anti-ageing, repairing results. You can pick up the mask on its own for £349 in the sales, or you can also get this bundle that throws in CurrentBody’s neck and decollete mask to help treat a wider area. The neck is often the first place to show signs of ageing, so treating both areas can be beneficial, as long as you’re willing to embrace the RoboCop look during treatments.
***
Gentle repairing moisturiser
Illiyoon Ceramide cream, £13.99 (was £19.99)
£13.99 at AmazonIt’s hard to recommend deals on specific skincare products – everyone’s needs differ – but this winter skin saviour from Korean skincare brand Illiyoon is such brilliant value I couldn’t resist talking about it. You may not have come across this cream before, but if you suffer from dry, tight or irritated skin in the winter as the cold air strips your skin of moisture, this is a foolproof fix. It’s fragrance free and packed with ceramides to gently nurse very dry skin back to health without irritation. I prefer using the cream at night, where it can work its barrier-repairing magic without disruption. It’s hard to go wrong at this price, either.

Our favourite IPL
Philips Lumea 9900 Series IPL, £334.99 (was £494.27)
£334.99 at AmazonIf you want to invest in the most versatile and effective IPL you can buy, this is our recommendation. It has a range of four smart attachments for face, body, bikini line and underarms and our reviewer Lise Smith loves that they automatically trigger the most comfortable settings for treating any area. It’s also cordless, which means you can get to those tricky areas without being tethered to a wall. This is its lowest price ever and a genuinely decent discount.

An IPL for all skin and hair types
Silk’n 7 IPL, from £350 (was £499)
£350 at Currys £350 at BootsI might have just settled back into woolly mammoth season, but if you like to keep yourself hair-free year round, an IPL is a brilliant investment. In her IPL showdown earlier this year, Lise Smith recommended the Silk’n 7 IPL for anyone who wants more personalised treatment. Many IPLs can only treat darker hairs on lighter skin tones, but this device has a skin colour sensor that tweaks the treatment based on your colouring for more effective results. Lise says it’s “good value if you have a skin/hair colour combination that the other products on our list can’t handle” –especially true now that it’s even cheaper.

All-singing, all-dancing epilator
Braun Silk Epil 9 Flex Skin Spa, £139.99 (avg £225.21)
£139.99 at Boots £139.99 at AmazonDon’t tell anyone I said this, but I’m way too much of a wimp to epilate all the time. If you’re made of stronger stuff than I am, the Braun Silk Epil 9 Flex is one of the most comfortable, intuitive epilators to use – and that’s according to my mother who has been epilating for more than a decade. When she tested this epilator, she assured me its flexible head was a solid upgrade from epilators of old. This bargain set comes with eight extra attachments, including an electric shaver, a neat little trimmer, an exfoliation brush and a massage pad, thrown in.
***
Our favourite hair straighteners
GHD Platinum Plus Straighteners, £164 (was £229)
£164 at John Lewis £164 at AmazonProduct reviewer Lise Smith has been taming her curly hair with hair straighteners for decades, and the GHD Platinum Plus straighteners have been her top recommendation for seven years running. Not only do they look gorgeous on a vanity table, they heat up blisteringly quickly and have her hair fully styled – pin straight – in minutes.
***
Budget hair dryer
Babyliss Hydro Fusion, £27 (was £60)
£27 at LookfantasticThis affordable hair dryer isn’t the fastest money can buy, but it’s super lightweight and its glossy, frizz-free results rivalled some of its pricier competition. With three heat settings, two speed settings, a concentrator nozzle and a diffuser, it’s easily the best budget-friendly hair dryer you can buy – this sale brings its price down to the cheapest it’s ever been.
***
Our favourite hair dryer bundle
Hershesons the Great hair dryer set, £225 (was £421)
£225 at HershesonsThis is still the best hair dryer I’ve ever tested, with superfast drying speeds, intuitive controls and quiet operation. While this deal means you’ll pay full price for the hair dryer, you’ll get £196’s worth of freebies thrown in, including Sali Hughes’s favourite hair rollers, styling foam, styling cream, air dry spray, a detangling brush, sectioning clips and a wide tooth comb – everything you need to achieve a perfect blow dry at home.
***
Wet to dry multistyler
Shark FlexStyle, £169 (was £269.99)
£169 at LookfantasticShark has released a few upgraded versions of its Flex multistylers over the past few years, but the original FlexStyle still holds up. If you’re hunting for a tool that can dry and style your hair quickly, without causing heat damage, this is a pretty safe bet. Its range of smoothing brushes is foolproof to use and perfect for quick styling on busy mornings. Conversely, its curling barrels are a little trickier to master – although with a bit of practice, they produce nice soft curls that will last all day if you use the right hair products. It’s well worth buying at this price.
***
Budget multistyler
Revlon 5-in-1 styler, £40 (was £80)
£40 at Argos £40 at AmazonIf you don’t have hundreds saved up to buy a multistyler from Shark or Dyson, the Revlon 5-in-1 styler is a fabulous budget-friendly alternative. It comes with a hair dryer nozzle, a paddle brush, a round brush, and an oval brush for straightforward at-home blow dries. In place of a fancy automatic-wrapping barrel, it has a ceramic-coated vented curling tong, which produced surprisingly good results in my tests. A lovely timesaver for a brilliant price.
***
Speedy hair waver
Beauty Works Jumbo Waver, £49 (was £70)
£42 at Beauty WorksSleek, glossy waves never go out of style, and they’re easy to achieve using the Beauty Works Jumbo Waver, which is now £21 off. When I tested this waver, its ceramic-coated barrels effortlessly tackled large sections of my hair, making styling super quick. Thanks to its very wide temperature range of 80-220C, it’s suitable for all hair types too. The only downside is that its big barrels make it quite top-heavy, so it can cause wrist strain if you’re using it for long periods (that’s unlikely to happen, though, since it’s so fast to use).
***
Versatile hair straighteners
Cloud Nine Contouring Iron Pro, £219 (was £299)
£219 at Cloud Nine £219 at AmazonFor a long time, I struggled to create curls using a straightener. The Contouring Iron Pro is Cloud Nine’s nifty solution to this problem, offering up curved plates that make achieving a perfect curl easier. Paired with the straightener’s vibrating ‘revive’ mode, the heated plates glide effortlessly over the strand, whether you’re twisting and turning the iron to make waves and curls, or you’re creating a straight look. It’s a versatile two-in-one tool that’s perfect for travel, and it feels high-end. It’s currently £80 off.
***
Shine-boosting hair mask
Gisou hair mask, £29.25 (was £39)
£29 for 230ml at Gisou £29.25 for 230ml SephoraThis hair mask is one of my top recommendations this year, across any category. I’m constantly testing hot styling tools, which means my hair is always being put through the wringer. Thankfully, this gorgeous-smelling honey hair mask from Gisou helped nurse my dry strands back to health, adding a glossy shine that lasted. It’s one of the few beauty products I’ll be running back to repurchase, so thank goodness it’s discounted.
***
Do-it-all mascara
Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara, £6.59 (avg £7.90)
£6.59 at AmazonWhen Sabine Wiesel tested the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, she was impressed by its ability to check all the boxes. In her own words, it delivered “length, volume and a separated, fanned-out effect”. You couldn’t ask for much more from a mascara, especially considering it also comes in nine different shades, with a waterproof black. Now’s a good time to try it, as you can bag a cheeky saving.
