  • His death was announced by his son, actor and singer Jason Donovan, who stated he passed away peacefully on Saturday, 18 July, in Melbourne, Australia.
  • Jason Donovan, alongside his brother Paul, described their father as a “huge character, larger than life” and their “best friend”.
  • Terence Donovan was widely recognised for his roles in popular Australian soaps, including playing Doug Willis in Neighbours and Al Simpson in Home and Away .
  • His extensive acting career also featured parts in television series such as Division 4 and Cop Shop , and films including Breaker Morant .
