Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married!
After months of speculation over how they’d celebrate their nuptials, the mysterious Madison Square Garden rumors became a reality when paparazzi and countless chauffeured cars began pulling up outside the New York City arena Thursday and Friday.
In a statement shared with The Independent, Swift’s representative revealed that the ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler and that Swift chose not to have bridesmaids.
Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was the groom’s Best Man.
Around 7.30 p.m. Friday, LED signs outside the venue read “JUST&T MARRIED!” The “T&T” is a nod to their shared first initial, which has been featured on guest merchandise for the event.
The couple’s bleary-eyed celebrity guests began pouring out of the venue in the early hours, helping to confirm who was lucky enough to receive an invite... and who might have been left off the guestlist.

Taylor Swift’s favourite teacher and one-time security guard died on the day of her wedding, it has emerged.
Kirk Schwabe, 69, died of cancer on 3 July, the same day the pop star married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
His family confirmed the news to The Telegraph, not long after he gave his first and only interview to the publication ahead of the ceremony.
Schwabe’s wife, Jane, said he treated Swift “like he did his daughters”, while his daughter Jane said: “My dad had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued and protected.
“Whether you were family, one of his students, or someone like Taylor whose path crossed his, he cared deeply about people. That’s the legacy he leaves behind.”

While Taylor and Travis’s wedding was shrouded in secrecy, amid rumours guests were asked to sign NDAs before attending, some of the couple’s celebrity friends couldn’t resist sharing a few snippets from the big day.
Country star Maren Morris shared a number of shots of herself and fellow singer Kelsea Ballerini in their dresses, before one picture at the end of an Instagram carousel revealed a delicate lace handkerchief with Swift and Kelce’s initials, “T” and “T”, intertwined with a love-heart design, the date of their wedding and the location, “New York City”.
The handkerchief also featured a lyric from Swift’s hit song “Blank Space”, specifically the line: “So it’s gonna be forever...”

Comedy was clearly at the forefront of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding on Friday.
The Madison Square Garden ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler and included a dinner speech from Girls creator Lena Dunham that had attendees “gasping.”
Dunham, 40, and Swift, 36, have been close friends since the early 2010s when Dunham was dating Swift’s musical collaborator Jack Antonoff. Swift later served as a bridesmaid at Dunham’s wedding to musician Luis Felber in 2021.

Dior confirmed its status as the creator behind Swift and Kelce’s wedding looks, and revealed that both designs were crafted at the house’s historic ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
“Christian Dior Haute Couture is delighted to confirm it has created the wedding looks for the marriage of Taylor and Travis,” Dior’s statement said. “They have been created in Dior’s ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, and designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the couple.”

Beatles legend Paul McCartney was also spotted leaving with Hollywood star Tom Hanks, with McCartney rumoured to have performed at the ceremony with Swift and Stevie Nicks.
Also spotted: the rapper Ice Spice, Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn, pop singer Gracie Abrams, Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Scott.
Some celebrities were guaranteed spots on the thousand-person invite list, like Swift’s close friends Zoë Kravitz and Selena Gomez, as well as Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates. However, other attendees have surprised fans — like Swift’s former best friend Karlie Kloss, who she was last seen with in 2017, and her husband Joshua Kushner.

Donald Trump’s grudge against Taylor Swift is not taking a break on her wedding day.
Swift married Travis Kelce in a Madison Square Garden ceremony Friday, which was celebrated with massive pink screens illuminated outside the iconic New York City arena proclaiming “JUST&T MARRIED” after the A-list couple said “I do” in front of more than 1,000 guests at the venue.
Shortly after the signs appeared, the White House issued a takedown parodying the announcement.
“IT’S HAPPENED!!!” the White House’s official X account said in a post, along with an AI-generated picture of pink billboards saying, “Trump is your president.”
It was not the first time that the Trump administration took a dig at the world-renowned singer, 36, during her wedding weekend.

Divisive comedian Dave Chappelle joined CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on Thursday evening as part of the network’s coverage of America’s 250th birthday.
At one point, Cohen asked Chappelle about the details of Kelce’s bachelor party, during which the groom and his friends were seen at one of Chappelle’s comedy shows in San Diego.
“I was shocked. I’d never seen anything like that. A whoreless bachelor party. Whatever makes you happy, Travis!” Chappelle joked.

The news that comedian and actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might have come as a surprise to some, but he and Swift go way back.
Sandler has been an admirer of Swift’s for years; he’s met her on several occasions at public events and attended one of her Eras concerts in LA, while also taking his children to the premiere of her Eras concert film.
“Taylor is so nice to my family and always has been,” he told Entertainment Tonight last year. “My kids have met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, and she’s ridiculously nice to them and warm.”
