Steelers shuffle spots on the practice squad

On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced a handful of roster moves on the practice squad. Pittsburgh signed linebacker Caleb Johnson and tight end Scotty Washington to the practice squad. To make room on the practice squad, the Steelers released offensive lineman Obinna Eze and tight end Noah Gindorff.

Johnson played his college football at the University of Texas and was originally signed as an UDFA by the Chicago Bears. Washington is in his fourth NFL season out of Wake Forest. He spent his first two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and was most recetly with the New England Patriots.

The Steelers beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-17 last week on the road. This week the Steelers return home to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
