St. Vincent, also known as Annie Clark, is set to release her new album, 'All Born Screaming,' on April 26, following up on her 2021 release, 'Daddy's Home.' This album marks a departure from her previous work, with a more hard-edged sound. It will be released under a new label imprint, Virgin Music Group, and is St. Vincent's first self-produced album.

The lead single, 'Broken Man,' was released alongside the album announcement, accompanied by a video directed by Alex Da Corte. The album features guest appearances from Cate Le Bon and notable musicians such as Dave Grohl and Josh Freese.

In a statement, St. Vincent explained her decision to self-produce the album, emphasizing the need to explore her own creative voice. She described the album as delving into emotional depths and finding authenticity in solitude.

Describing the album as 'post-plague pop,' St. Vincent shared that it explores themes of heaven and hell metaphorically. The sound of the album is characterized by analog synths and guitar-driven tracks, creating an urgent and intense sonic landscape.

St. Vincent expressed that 'All Born Screaming' is a departure from her previous work, with a darker and more introspective tone. The album is described as high stakes and intentional, showcasing a different side of her artistry.

While tour dates for 2024 have yet to be announced, St. Vincent will be making festival appearances, including Bottlerock in Napa Valley. She also hinted at individual gigs related to the festival in San Francisco and Napa.

The tracklist for 'All Born Screaming' includes songs like 'Hell is Near,' 'Reckless,' 'Flea,' and 'Sweetest Fruit,' culminating in the title track featuring Cate Le Bon.
